FCP has 2 events scheduled for Orlando!

Friday, October 7th - A Visit to the Disney Flavor Lab (3:00 - 4:30 p.m.)
The Disney culinary team will share how Disney has approached plant-based menus over the years.  
The event includes small tasting plates.
*You are responsible for transportation to/from the Tasting Lab (it's about 20 minutes from the Convention Center)
*Space is very limited for this event.

Saturday, October 8th - FCP's Networking Event and FCP Fundraiser (7:00 - 9:30 p.m.)
Join us for our always-excellent networking event.
You'll have the opportunity to participate in our fundraiser for the FCP Foundation Fund.

FCP's Spotlight Session: African and African American Foodways in Southern Cuisine

In this engaging session, two renowned chefs will be interviewed by a registered dietitian, discussing the stories of ingredients and foodways that came to the U.S. with enslaved people from Africa and developed in Black communities in the Southern United States. They will trace ingredients, cooking techniques, and agricultural practices through the complicated history of African and African-American foodways and their impact on Southern and American cuisine today. They will discuss their personal and professional efforts to honor traditions and preserve local foods and food systems.
