Supermarket & Retail

What a historic and challenging time we are seeing as Supermarket Retail Dietitians! In early 2020, the world of retail changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As retail changes, so must our approaches as retail dietitians. I am positive that our members will use their knowledge, talents, and passion to overcome hurdles associated with the pandemic’s impact and continue to be the trusted source for health and wellness for shoppers.

Food has the ability to connect us with others and this year, I look forward to working together to help each other learn and grow as we make a positive impact on consumers! The Supermarket / Retail Subgroup is here to support you throughout the year. It is our goal to provide timely and useful information, networking opportunities, continuing education, and resources to help all retail dietitians continue to make food a part of the nutrition conversation. To help, I encourage you to take advantage of everything FCP has to offer:

Retail dietitians are a group of hard working individuals, who share their passion of food and nutrition through their work every day! In such a fast-paced industry, we are all learning to adapt, grow and make a difference. Please reach out with any questions, comments or thoughts throughout this year—I’d love to connect with you!
